TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE:

Reasons for cancellation insured against if the insured person cancels a trip before it starts, EUROPÄISCHE will pay the contractually agreed cancellation charges if the cancellation took place for the following reasons:

** death, accident, unexpected severe illness, pregnancy or intolerance of immunisation of the insured person or a person constituting a risk,
** loss or damage to the property of the insured person or a person constituting a risk due to fire, elemental events, or criminal action (e.g. burglary),
** the fact of the person insured or a person constituting a risk travelling with him/her becoming unemployed as a result of unexpected dismissal by his/her employer for business reasons,
** the taking up of employment by the person insured or a person constituting a risk travelling with him/her, where the person concerned was registered as unemployed when the trip was booked and had completed and returned a Going-away-from-home form to his/her JobCentre before the trip began.

This insurance has to be purchased latest 14 days after tour confirmation.
