Beside de 18 holes of Seve's design, the club has another course of 9 holes and a special 18 holes one for children, together with the hotel, riding club swimming pools, tennis courts, etc in project, Alhaurín Golf is the most ambitious development in the whole Costa del Sol. The full length course is up and down and its fairways are long and narrows, so straight hitting is a must to avoid water traps, bushes and bunkers. Under the chairmanship of Mr. Teodulfo Lagunero, the club offers bar and restaurant service, as well as buggies, carts and club for renting.
The Riding Club, situated in the hotel gardens has been built in pure Andalusian style. It has thirty boxes, a competition track of 100m x 50m and other facilities. This Riding Club offers different styles of riding such as Traditional Spanish Dressage, Classic Dressage and Jumping. Excursions or cross country-trekking along specially selected trails are available for visitors yearning to discover the magnificent countryside.
