| Hotel Giorgione - Venice |
| |
| In the late Eighteenth Century the Hotel Giorgione was a large sweets
warehouse, and in the early 1800’s it was turned into a hotel called Hostaria. It remained in the possession of the same family
and the advantage in the ownership of a family means that guests are treated just like the guests of a warm, welcoming
home. |

| The Hotel is situated in a lovely, quiet area in the Cannaregio section of
Venice, thus called after the Canal Regio, which connects the Canal Grande to the Lagoon, in the Santi Apostoli quarter. This
quarter is named after the ancient church built on the site where the apostles made an apparition. The hotel is 3 minutes away
from the Rialto Bridge, 10 from Saint Mark’s Square. The Hotel Giorgione has the matchless advantage of being run by a family,
as they receive hotel guests not as customers, but as guests at a warm, welcoming home. The age-old Hostaria has remained as a
typical attached locale where exquisite Venetian specialities are offered. |
