It will happen in winter 2003: ARCOTEL goes Berlin ! And again it will be
classified as designhotel, created for business travellers as well as Berlin tourists, who put an emphasis on good
design.
The new ARCOTEL Velvet will be located in the Oranienburger Strasse, in Berlin's "hip" district with a vivid gastronomic and
art scene, next to the famous "Tacheles" building. Nearby spots are: the Museum Island, the "Hackesche Höfe", "Unter den
Linden", Friedrichstrasse, the "Friedrichstadtpalast", the "Brandenburger Tor" and many other important sights.
The four-star hotel will offer 80 rooms, 10 spacious suites, an indoor parking garage, 2 bars and an excellent restaurant, that
will be run by Josef Laggner, an Austrian who has become a famous representative of Berlin's gastronomy. He is the owner of two
exclusive places: the "Newton Bar" and the "Lutter & Wegener". |
