The Fontenailles golf courses were designed by Michel GAYON. They are classic inland courses in a magnificent setting which offer challenging and enjoyable golf to players of all abilities. There are 27 holes in the naturally wooded grounds of over 200 acres. The hotel offers also Tennis (2 courts), Mountain bikes (for hire), Archery, electronic clay pigeon shooting (booking required), Saunas, Jacuzzi, gym, massage (booking required), Table-tennis. An ideal place to work and relax. For work, there are 4 elegantly appointed lounges. For relaxation, there are a number of different activities.
First mentioned in 1561 in the Archives Nationales (French national records), the château has since become an elegant and unusual 4 star hotel. Guests can enjoy the sumptuous surroundings of its 200 acre estate, the Bois Boudran, which is home to an outstanding golf course overlooked by many of the rooms and suites.
