Day 1: ARRIVE OSLO
Transfer from
Oslo Airport to hotel in connection with your flight arrival. Dinner and
accommodation at
Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel,
centrally located close to Karl Johan shopping boulevard. |
Day 2: OSLO - HARDANGER FJORD - BERGEN
After breakfast departure from Oslo, driving past the beautiful Tyri
Fjord and along the picturesque Halling Valley to the tourist resort town of
Geilo. Buffet lunch at Bardøla Mountain Hotel. After lunch cross the scenic
Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the mighty
Vøringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180 m., the highest in Norway.
Descend the amazing Måbødal Canyon to the idyllic Hardanger Fjord. Short
ferry crossing, followed by drive via Voss and Dale to Bergen, the old
Hanseatic capital of Western Norway and gateway to the Fjords. Dinner and
accommodation at Clarion Hotel Admiral, ideally located in the heart of the
city center on Bergen's central harbor. |
Day 3: BERGEN
The day starts with a 3 hour guided tour of the city, including a visit
to the famous Fish and Flower Market, the old Bryggen Harbor with its gabled
pack houses, the popular Hanseatic Quarter and the ancient Maria Church.
Ride on the Bergen Funicular to Mt. Fløien for panoramic views of the city
and fjords far below. Afternoon free in Bergen for exploring this enchanting
maritime city. Dinner and accommodation at Clarion Hotel Admiral |
Day 4: BERGEN - SOGNE FJORD -BALESTRAND
 After breakfast departure from Bergen, followed by scenic tour alongside
the beautiful Hardanger Fjord, famous for its many fruit orchards, to the
town of Voss. Stop to view the enchanting Tvindefoss Waterfall, before the
breathtaking ascent to Stalheim, with breathtaking views of the surrounding
mountain peaks and Nærøy Valley. Descend to Gudvangen for start of 2 hour
cruise with lunch on one of the private sightseeing boats from Gudvangen to
Flam, sailing along the narrow Nærøy and Aurlands Fjords. After a visit to
the village of Flam, continue by coach across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes
for the short ferry crossing to the beautiful resort of Balestrand on the
banks of the Sogne Fjord. Dinner and accommodation at Kvikne's Hotel,
superbly located overlooking the fjord and surrounded by mountains. |
Day 5: BALESTRAND -
NORD FJORD - GEIRANGER FJORD
Continue by ferry along the
fjord to Fjærland. Continue by coach passing under the Jostedal Glacier.
Descend to the beautiful Nord Fjord via Olden to visit the world famous
Briksdal Glacier. The journey up to the glacier will be in open cars for
better view. A typical Norwegian lunch is served in sight of the glacier.
Continue the tour via Loen and Stryn to the picturesque village of Hellesylt.
Here board the ferry for the one hour's cruise along the spectacular
Geiranger Fjord. During the cruise you will pass close by some impressive
waterfalls, such as the Bridal Veil and the Seven Sisters. Dinner and
accommodation at the excellent Union Hotel , overlooking the Geiranger Fjord. |
Day 6: GEIRANGER -
LILLEHAMMER - OSLO
From the top of the famous Serpentine Road, you have the opportunity to
digest some fantastic views of the fjord, before crossing the exciting
Grotli Mountains to Lom, renowned for its well preserved 14th century stave
church. The tour continues via Lake Vågå, before descending the magnificent
Gudbrands Valley to the popular tourist town of Lillehammer. Lunch. Stop to
visit the famous Olympia Park with panoramic views of the town, before
continuing the journey alongside Lake Mjøsa back to Oslo. Dinner and
accommodation at

Day 7: OSLO
DEPARTURE
Buffet
breakfast at hotel, followed by transfer to Oslo Airport for your flight
home.
